Corrections, questions, and the occasional argument about sleep science.
That address reaches the person who writes, researches, narrates and edits everything here — there is no team and no support desk behind it. Replies are usually within a few days. Dreamtime Science is run from Birmingham, in the United Kingdom, which is also why the product recommendations and prices are UK-first.
What to get in touch about
Corrections
These are the most welcome messages of all. Every episode and article is researched from published sources, but sleep science moves and mistakes get through. If something here is wrong, out of date, or stated with more confidence than the evidence supports, say so — a link to the paper or a pointer to the specific claim is enough. Genuine corrections are made to the page rather than quietly buried, and the updated date on the article changes when they are.
Press and collaboration
Interviews, podcast appearances, guest pieces, and requests to quote or reference the content are all fine to ask about. Please include what you are working on and your deadline. Requests to publish paid or sponsored posts, guest articles with embedded links, or "content partnerships" are declined as a matter of course, so there is no need to send those.
Product reviews and recommendations
Suggestions for sleep products worth testing are welcome, especially ones available in the UK. Note that products are bought and used before they are written about; unsolicited samples do not buy a review, and a review that does happen will say plainly where a product falls short. Affiliate links are used on some pages and are disclosed there.
Questions about sleep
General questions about how sleep works are read with interest, and often turn into an article or an episode. What cannot be answered is anything personal and medical: whether you have a sleep disorder, what to take, or what a symptom means. Everything published here is science education, not medical advice.
If your sleep problem is urgent
Please talk to a doctor rather than emailing a website. Insomnia that has lasted months, breathing that stops during the night, falling asleep without warning during the day, or sleep problems alongside low mood or a mental-health crisis all deserve a professional who can actually examine you. In the UK, start with your GP or call NHS 111. Nothing on this site is a substitute for that.
Elsewhere
You can also find Dreamtime Science on YouTube, Spotify, and TikTok. Comments on the episodes are read, though email gets a faster answer. More about who is behind the channel is on the About page.
